Businesses today have scrapped the bounds of international borders. You can have an entire workforce scattered around the globe, joining together to produce something truly great. It’s a feat and a testament to our ever-evolving world. But with this win comes a quite a big downside. In times of a fluctuating economic climate. currency shifts can take a massive toll on businesses. A price set on one day, can look very different on another. How can businesses that go beyond their country's borders find stability in such chaos? Since we’re more connected now than ever before, next door’s problem can very quickly come knocking on ours. Thankfully, a cutting edge fintech company named Okoora came to save us all from the unpredictability of currency.
We moved forward by creating the visual identity and started with the logo. The design celebrates the theme of simplifying complexity. Three strategically placed ovals, representing market fluctuations, placed in an upward slant conveyed growth and progress. The next step was creating a rich website for Okoora, using a visual language that would perfectly fit their business needs. As a B2B SaaS company that targets a wide range of businesses, the experience and design of the website had to be highly conversion oriented. This meant an exact flow and look that would seamlessly communicate complex financial ideas in a simplistic and aesthetic visual.
“One Platform. Four Environments” is the core of what Okoora provides. A carefully selected combination of colors, shapes and emblems for each “environment” created an identifying look and simultaneously added to the overall feel of the website. We needed four distinct colors that would represent the different components within this world: blue - payments, orange - risk, black – banking and workflows – turquoise. With this unique and striking palette, we cemented Okoora’s identity as a young, current and forward thinking fintech company. The finished result sent Okoora onward to the world, as a powerful brand ready to make a positive difference, and turn the tumultuous financial waves into a path one can move through.
