Are young Jews around the world interested in learning Jewish topics? Well, they would, but it would have to be naturally accessible to them, bite-sized, well produced, intriguing, and preferably come as video. Everything that “educational Jewish content” today is not.
JerusalemU, a non-profit for contemporary Jewish and Israeli education, was the first to understand that in order to compel young audience today, you have to be native in their world. They created Unpacked: a publishing initiative that aims to help unpack complex issues and raise engagement, through Social content and up-to-date materials for educators.
The brand concept aimed to position them not as an education organization but rather as a media and content generator, that would fit naturally in anyone’s feed. We visualized the name, set an ever-changing content background, and turned it into an icon that can rotate to be examined from many angles. This playful ye iconic approach encapsulates the brand spirit, and more importantly: the spirit of the generation.
