Israel is a bustling hub for entrepreneurship, innovation and world-changing tech – it isn’t called Startup Nation for nothing. Startups such as Waze, WhatsApp and Mobileye were recognized for their ingenuity and became globally renowned. Startup Nation Central is a prominent organization that collaborates with global business partners, to create investment opportunities for in Israeli tech ecosystem. We met with their professional teams, learned their new brand strategy and were thrilled to help express their strategy creatively, and design a new digital hub for Israeli startups.
Startup Nation Central’s initial and main objective is to strengthen Israel’s economy and society by fortifying Israel’s tech innovation ecosystem – what they call “Innovation diplomacy”, working mainly with health, climate, agriculture and food tech startups. Following the October 7th war, however, it was clear that Startup Nation Central is crucial for the mere survival and evolution of Israeli tech, and that connecting startups with investors is the next step.
From this point, we helped Startup Nation Central with implementing their new strategy, applying brand guidelines into different visual applications. We designed everything from local and in-house events visuals packages to global events and social media ones. Next, we went on to design Startup Nation Central’s new website.
As an agile organization, Startup Nation Central dove right into the new glocal reality – and a new website was born, catering to global audiences – investors and business partners – and local startups. Our product team designed an editorial inspired website fit for large amounts of rich content, a diverse audience and a layered user experience, made easy to navigate. Their value propositions are reflected clearly and are made easier to find; and their leading product, Finder – a platform that connects startups and investors – is made accessible through main site, while still promoting it as a stand-alone platform.
