The word home has taken on many meanings over the years. It holds memories, moments we share with loved ones, and the first sense of belonging we feel - it is truly the heart of our lives. The Israeli home is unique, a reflection of a vibrant and happy culture that values family, community and tradition. There is so much importance placed on the design of our homes, the selection of colors, and harmony - maybe we start with the shape of our homes, but at the end of the day, our home shapes us. Fox Home, one of the leading lifestyle companies in Israel, wanted to refresh its visual language. Throughout the collaborative design process, we ask how we can create a homely atmosphere in the stores while also allowing everyone to create their own style and color for the home they want to design?
After many years of Fox Home's design language being a derivative of its parent brand FOX, we decided it was time to reinvent it as an independent brand. Our challenge was to solve their problem of lack of uniformity, which led to the erosion and depreciation of the brand's visual identity. All of these exciting developments were accompanied by the news of international expansion, which brought the opportunity to refresh the house. As a result, we began renovating to create an international brand with a strong global presence.
The centrality of the home in our lives and the framework it provides led us in the creation of the central message in FOX HOME's new visual identity: We replaced the red and gray colors with a black and white logo and linked it to a secondary palette of vibrant pastel colors that convey joy and allow adaptation to changing fashion trends.
We used the double presence of the letter O to create a frame for the different designs and created a window from it for the shared memories we create at home, a family dinner, cozying up on the couch or a pillow fight in the bedroom.
