There’s really no need to introduce Coca Cola, the master company that over the span of about 60 years became a life brand, hitting the spot with commercial insights that touch on core aspects of the human existence. Coca Cola knows that brands are just like people, and so they breathe, grow and change with time. Adaptability is what makes a successful timeless brand. So this project may not require to introduce the brand to the world – but we did reintroduce the brand to itself. We got to take Coca Cola Israel on a meaningful, empowering journey for their employer branding and employee experience.
The Coca Cola Israel brand essence and slogan is THE TASTE OF LIFE. In Hebrew it also means “the best taste” and the flavor, as in motivation and passion, behind actions. We’ve worked with it and extracted three main values that guide Coca Cola Israel: TASTE – their business and craft. SOCIAL – a responsible and aware brand. And FREEDOM – choosing to evolve and grow, as people, business and brand. Incorporating the global Coca Cola brand essence, HAPPINESS, we’ve created an employee experience that revolves around the freedom Coca Cola gives its people to find their own happiness – their own taste of life.
Following workshops with Coca Cola, we launched their inhouse campaign inviting employees to share their own takes. This turns the spotlight to everyday people, inviting them to be the heroes they are and empowering them. Each poster presented a frontal, natural and happy photo of real employees beside their genuine TASTE OF LIFE. Employees pictures will then be hung on a wall with a Coca Cola neon sign, spreading light, happiness and a dynamic vibe.
We’ve used brand colors – red, black, white and light grey, for every application, incorporating original illustrations and icons created by us. Meeting rooms, offices, corridors, cafeteria and every space in the Coca Cola kingdom was designed with brand colors, integrating uplifting and proactive messages, typography work and patterns. Further applications included unique employee merch, newcomers welcome kit and suggestions for environmental materials that can be used from factory to office design. If making people happy isn’t the taste of life, we don’t know what is.
