Buckle up, friends: we are venturing out to the tumultuous world of Venture Capital. It’s wild and wonderful, full of bright minds who set out to make a difference in the human experience. VC companies are there to spot and fully back startups with big ideas. Ofek is an Israeli based VC with years of know-how and a plethora of successful clients. When we first met, questions about unique value soon arose: the startup nation is studded with VCs – so what exactly sets Ofek apart? We embarked on a mutual mission.
The first thing we’ve noticed when looking around at other VCs, is that most of them talk about the same things and position themselves firstly based on past success, and only then by unique value – which isn’t wrong because successful investments and big wins are a part of the VC’s portfolio and DNA. However, keeping the convo focused solely on that will make you easily blend in. So how do we stand out without completely disrupting the category and kicking Ofek to a whole other dimension? Nuanced opportunities are still doors, and we found ours.
When we asked Ofek to define themselves, they emphasized relationships as a crucial part of their work and success. Indeed, connection, trust and credibility to name a few, are an integral part of investments – that hectic world mentioned above. Knowing your leader is also your partner is a game changer. We’ve positioned Ofek as a United Front, connecting them with founders. Its core idea is To The Top Through Thick and Thin, emphasizing their ability to be highly demanding and inspiring yet personal. We’ve suggested a new name – 10D, since they are multi-dimensional within their own category, pushing it forward. The 10D logo brilliantly conveys this with the use of a mobius strip as the logotype, communicating boundlessness, endless dimensions, logic and flexibility.
